Best Practices Regarding ATL

  1. Basic knowledge communicated to students through mentors during the zero periods once a week to students of class 6th to 12th.Hands on practice with:-
    • Arduino
    • Breadboards
    • Sensors
    • Breadboards
    • Motors
    • Wires
    • Transisters
    • Registers
    • LDR
    • I2C Display etc
  2. Demonstration and hands on practice for operating Drones.
  3. Identification of problems in daily life (15 days given for thought process and identifying and giving ideas to solve the problems). Mentors were made available for students to have through discussion of implementing the ideas through making models for example:- Smoke Detector sensors, blind stick with sensor, Digital Locker, Smart Dustbin, Solar Car, Life Identifier modules on Mars, Signal Transmitter, Smart Crop cutter etc.
  4. Inclusion of ATL classes in regular time table (one periods per week for every class from 2019-22).
  5. Encouraging student interaction and ideas exchange between students of neighboring schools and organizations dealing with education of underprivileged children. This was done by organizing ATL community Days.
  6. Exposure of students to technology summits through visits to Vigiyan Bhawan, National science museum, DIC MEET 2109. Students were shown innovation projects to set their minds thinking through Q & A sessions and free discussions with experts.
  7. Invitation and interaction with parents who volunteer to teach and guide students for various skills like photography, Machine Work etc.
  8. Maintenance of Lab:- Entry of outsiders is prohibited. Lab is cleaned and arranged under strict supervision of caretaker and teacher In-charge on a regular basis and components and instruments are placed back in their respective storage palaces after use. Furniture arrangements are maintained by students after every class.
  9. Records and files containing reports expenditure, meetings etc. are meticulously maintained by the teacher In-charge, video recording of workshops, events special days etc. are maintained by the teacher In-charge. Students are given responsibility of developing (as to make) videos through their knowledge and tranning of different software like adobe spark, Java etc.
  10. Online workshops were conducted for the teachers training as well the students so that students were enhanced their knowledge and also keep in touch with ATL.
  11. Online Fest was conducted during the pandemic and e-certificates were distributed to the participated schools.
