Hamdard Public School is a coeducational English medium school affiliated to CBSE. It prepares the students for the ALL India Secondary School Examination (X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (XII) conducted by CBSE.

THE PRE-PRIMARY & PRIMARY SECTION (OKHLA) (Classes Nursery – II)
A child should be 3 years old for admission to the Nursery class. The teaching learning process is child-centered and activity based. The section is equipped with the latest teaching aids and toys and other apparatus which are used extensively by competent and trained teachers in order to make the learning process joyful, creative and productive.
A bond with nature is developed through regular nature rambling activities.
All the cognitive senses of the child are developed so that he is ready for formal schooling.
THE PRIMARY SECTION (Classes I – V)
The curriculum in the Primary section is so designed as to strengthen the basic skills acquired at the Pre-Primary level. This is done through activity-oriented child-centred teaching. A Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation system is followed in order to ensure the holistic development of the child’s personality and to relieve the students of the stress and strain of tests and examinations. The curriculum is in line with the guidelines provided by the NCERT & CBSE.
Urdu, Sanskrit and Arabic are introduced to the students from class I as the third language.
Life skills, Environment studies, Disaster Management, Physical and Health Education, Art and Craft, Music, Computer Science, Yoga, and Aerobics are part of the curriculum.
THE SECONDARY SECTION (Classes VI – X)
The education programme is designed to make the young minds value the synthesis of human body, mind and spirit. The endeavour is to develop scientific temper, thinking skills, creativity, problem solving ability, inquisitiveness among students and arouse curiosity about the natural phenomena and rich cultural heritage of our country. Language and mathematical skills are sharpened. The best of modern learning at an affordable price is imparted by a highly trained and motivated set of teachers.
THE SENIOR SECONDARY SECTION (Classes XI – XII)
The school provides Science, Commerce and Humanities streams at the plus two stage.
Biotechnology, Computer Science, Physical Education and Urdu are offered as optional subjects.
Students are given special coaching for entrance to professional courses.
