Principal's Message

‘Intelligence plus Character is the goal of Education’

Hamdard always believes in value based education which alone can bring about transformation. We as educators try our best to impart holistic education in our institution as it is said that values are caught not taught.

The world in which we live has witnessed rapid changes during the last 20 years at a mind boggling speed. The mass media, information technology and the internet have brought about cataclysmic changes in the family, social and moral life. These changes have far reaching consequences on both education and educational institutions. If the students have to face the new world they need to be equipped with the basic skills - reading, writing, computing and the language of communication. If we can help the children to be meditative we can change the whole world, its energy, its consciousness. This would prevent their energy from moving into wrong channels, diverting them to the right path.

We need to make ourselves effective, efficient and informed communicators with a broad spectrum of interest that our students can see in us as role models with character, competence and commitment. We, as educators, need to instil in them the sense of quality and self-motivation.

The mission of the school is ‘all round individual development of a child’. For this we need not only be mere instructors but learned, committed and devoted educationists. Our focus is primarily on preparing them to be worthy citizens, refined in heart and mind, skilled to earn their daily bread and steady legs to follow intelligently, the great ideals and values of life. Let our education move from school curriculum to co-curricular;

from knowledge to wisdom; from competition to cooperation; from division to unity; from selfishness to generosity and finally from ‘how to earn a livelihood’ to ‘how to live’. Let us create in them positive self-image and self esteem by way of appreciation, recognition, love and care which will be most precious wealth and the true source of real happiness.

I am thankful to the management, staff, parents and well-wishers who supported us in performing our functions as educators. I am confident that all of you will continue to contribute in forming the character of our children in the most perfect way with the help of the Almighty.

May we all strive towards excellence, be thankful and teach the quality of giving, discipline and basic values in the children while preparing them academically for their future.

I humbly look forward to the unconditional support from the members of the school community in all our future endeavours.

God Bless!
